"Pros: De locatie is erg bijzonder. Lussaud is een dorp met een uniek karakter, afgelegen en gelegen in een onvoorstelbaar landschap. Olivier is een uitstekende gastheer, hij ontving ons met enorme gastvrijheid en voorzag ons van tips die we opvolgden en als zeer waardevol bestempelden. Cons: Het was op de eerste verdieping, waar de slaapvertrekken waren, in de zomer soms te warm om te kunnen slapen. Ramen construeren aan weerszijden van de ruimtes zou wellicht meer luchtventilatie kunnen bieden....

"The room was clean. The food was good, breakfast was simple but tasty, dinner was also simple but tasty as well. Hosts were very understanding."

"The owner is very kind and he is there very late even if it is past check in time. He only spoke French but tried his best to accommodate to other languages and was very helpful. The hotel itself is a bit outdated with appliances however it is in a very quiet beautiful location. The parking is the only flaw as it is in a small alley with about 10 spots."

"We booked this hotel very, very last minute as we had started to grow tired on the road. It was no problem at all and we were able to go straight to our room. The room was modern and comfortable and we slept really well . The doors do take a good push to close and are noisy when closing - but once the hotel had settled for the night it was a lovely calm environment. The village is very quaint and a self guided walking tour is suggested in the room which we would recommend that you do. The breakfast was phenomenal - even the yoghurt is home made. Downsides - if you book last minute you may not be able to eat at the restaurant and even if you book in advance you should reserve. There is no other places to eat a meal in the village. So having to drive out to another restaurant was a bit annoying after a long drive during the day. It would be good if maybe an option was available for weary travellers even if the full restaurant experience was not possible. Maybe a salad for you to eat in your room or at the outside tables? Equally - although the breakfast was excellent it is only served from 8:00 to 9:30 on a Sunday morning (probably to enable to team to prepare for a busy lunch service in the restaurant). It is a shame - especially since check out is 11am. Would still revisit if ever passing though. A lovely, none pretentious stop away a short drive from the A75."
