"A most charming place to stay nestled in the hills of the Massif Central, this was formerly the village school house and retains many original features. Dinner was provided by the hosts and was particularly well received. Breakfast was basic but no less delicious for that."

"Helpful staff, comfortable bed, clean shower, air con in room"

"Lovely boutique hotel. Would happily stay here again."

"Excellent place. Superb terrace next to a babbling brook. Owners most helpful and nice "

"The room was clean and comfortable with aircon and parking right outside. The reception staff were superb, very personable and helpful."

"We had a one night stay and we would stay in this hotel again! What a great find! Cute room and perfect for a family. Kids enjoyed the pool. The facilities in the room were great: shower over bath, separate toilet, mini fridge, shutters. Lovely and clean. Lovely view. We didn’t have breakfast as we had had a big meal the previous night in a lovely local restaurant."

"everything was really good food in the evening was really good"

"Great stay, can’t fault anything, service, food, comfort, all excellent, with spectacular views"

"Very friendly, good restaurant, modern rooms"

"This place shouldn't really be classified as a hotel, it's old and decrepit, the reception when we arrived was inaccessible, we weren't given any information by email on how to access it and the lady who eventually opened the door only spoke French so we interpreted various codes to access the lift, the front door and the room. The furnishings are anything from 20-40 years old, the room was beyond basic with no air conditioning and upon leaving the window open to be able to sleep all we could...

"Hébergement Impeccable, dans un environnement superbe, au calme, dans une bâtisse pittoresque . Le repas était copieux et délicieux avec des produits de qualité comme pour le petit déjeuner."

"Excellent restaurant "

"This is an amazing find such lovely family owners took great care of us - the rooms perfect and clean. The home cooked food was amazing and service impeccable. Safe parking and so close to the Puy Mary volcano mountain area. Will stay again!"

"The staff is very kindly."

"Excellent traditional french logis hotel & restaurant run by the second & third generation of the family who created it from the family farm and full of old farm tools and implements. Very comfortable bed though traditional bolster with huge pillow and bed covers could be replaced. Very good traditional French country restaurant with local specialities and delicious local red wine plus good indoor swimming pool and views of the lovely countryside with sheep in the fields from the window. "Hôtel was very relaxing and staff very helpful. Would definitely stay again"

"Warm welcome, the check in was easy and she explained well everything. "

"Spa concept is all show. Looks good on brochures and in photos but lacks functionality. No hot water, hydrotherapy jets weak. Confusing layout. Misses the “Ahaaa” in relaxation. "
