「Kayaks are provided daily. Weather was great for the end of September. Had a pancake and sausage breakfast on the second morning and met a lot of the regular guests. They had been coming here for 28, 30 and 32 years! Grounds and hotel are very well kept. Pool was heated and hot tub and fire pit was nice to have at the end of a day here! Solo senior traveller that enjoyed her stay very much.」

「Spacious living space with 2 separate rooms. Great for a family vacation.」

「Nice place! Communication with the host was excellent. If you are short, be aware the bed is tall. Comfortable but too tall to sit on to put your socks on. Would not stop me from staying there again. didn't use the pool but I have to rate it to post this. 」

「Very relaxing.」

What needs improvement: The property is not up to the mark for the price paid. I have stayed in other places that were even better for 3/4 of the price I paid here. Very congested studio room. 1 bunk bed, and it was suffocating. The couch in the living room was not comfortable at all; it kept moving and caused discomfort. When I entered the house, it was too cold,...

「We were not told there was not an elevator the bed was not very comfortable the screen sliding door was impossible to open」

「The instructions were succinct and easy to follow, the condo is lovely, cozy, and well-appointed! It was clean and had just about everything we needed : close to the venue of our conference, cozy and comfy. Loved having our own kitchen and two full baths! 」

「Contact with the owner was quick and easy. The room looked clean, but as it turned out, the floor had never been washed for over price cleaning fee charged, as evidenced by the hairpin was found on the floor from the previous tenants. The place itself is very convenient, but parking is only available for hours when you check in and out, unlike a regular hotel: if you check in at 3:00 PM, you can park your car at 10:00 AM, and this very important detail isn't mentioned anywhere. The same goes for...

「We had a wonderful weekend in Truckee and at Donner Lake. The location was perfect and access to the many activities. We loved being right on the lake and the vacation rental was exactly what we were looking for!」
