"Grand, period villa that was obviously splendid in its hay day but is now in need of attention. The period furniture is a showpiece but is generally impractical for everyday use. The bedrooms are functional rather than grand all with questionable plumbing facilities but all with the overriding feature of excellent views. The kitchen is large but flatters to deceive. It is poorly appointed with what appears to be surplus equipment that the owners have long disused and whilst impressive in its hay...

"Off the main road with restaurants 5 min walk away. The house is located inside a gated compound. was it a grove before ? Plenty of fruit trees. Didn’t dare pick any. Love the space in the villa but lacking furniture especially in bedrooms eg no side tables or luggage racks. Walk in closet absolutely empty except for a hanging bar. Had to leave suitcases on floor and squat each time. Also no toiletries provided. Only towels Insufficient coffee pods and tea bags for the family and stay....

"The amazing views are just incredible. From one terrace you can see the Sorrentine coastline and from the other side and rooftop terrace, Mount Vesuvius dominates. Every evening we were treated to beautiful sunsets. The five star pool is absolutely gorgeous. I definitely recommend paying the extra to rent privately if you can. "
