South Branch Condo 11-2 is a cute and cozy ski-in/ski-out retreat right on Saddleback Mountain—perfect for a relaxing mountain getaway. With direct access to the slopes, you'll be able to ski right from the building and fully enjoy everything the mountain has to offer without the hassle of driving or parking.

The condo is conveniently located near the main lodge, where you'll find a welcoming pub-style restaurant, gift shop, and other amenities. When you're ready to explore beyond the mountain, downtown Rangeley is just a short drive away and offers a great local gym, plenty of restaurants, and charming shops to browse.

Inside, this one-bedroom condo is ideal for a couple. It features a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room with a cozy fireplace, and a private deck to enjoy fresh mountain air. Guests also have access to a ski locker located in the basement of the building (under Building 9), making it easy to store gear after a day on the slopes. Perfect slope side stay at Saddleback

Great location and had everything you need for a perfect stay. Driveway is sloped and staff was very helpful in getting a plow with additional sand so we could get out after a storm.

Great place to experience Saddleback!

Loved this rental! Cozy and very close to the base lodge. True ski-in, ski-out - trail was 30 steps from the back door. Clean and bright lodging, and property managers did a fantastic job sending proactive emails and responding to mid-stay requests. Looking forward to staying here the next time we go!

Great place to stay while skiing at Saddleback. Convenient ski storage and access to slopes. Clean and well-stocked unit with lots of streaming / tv options which came in handy during the blizzard. The rental agency made everything very easy. Highly recommend!

Just what we needed

Condo was cozy and clean. Had everything we needed and location could not be beat. The warnings are right that you can hear the people above you but this is not bad at all if the visitors above you are respectful. The team took great care of us providing recommendations for dinner and were super responsive to any questions. We will be back again!!

Great spot. Could add a light in bedroom closet. Was hard to see. Only drawback was the family above us had kids that seemed to play hockey in their condo every night.

A great place for home base

Our stay at South Branch was great! The host was very responsive. We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The gas fireplace was a nice amenity to quickly warm up after skiing. The condo was clean. Parking was easy. Walls were a bit thin, especially being in a middle floor unit, but everyone seems to quiet down by 10pm. Neighbors were all very friendly. Great for ski in / ski out. Short walk to the pub. Absolutely love it here and will be back again soon!

Very noisy- you can hear every step above you and toilet flush. The fireplace has a blower that is also very loud and hard to hear the TV when it is on. Also very drafty- no weatherstripping on exterior door and had the heat cranked. And the battery was removed from fire alarm which is a life safety issue. Overall, I cannot recommend this place.

True Ski in Ski Out

The view from this condo is gorgeous and overlooks the trail that leads directly to the South Branch Quad. You can walk out the back door, pop your skis on and go. Would agree with previous reviews about the pull out couch - we had 2 teenagers sleeping on it and it was not optimal but we made it work. Otherwise had everything we needed (except shampoo and conditioner). M&F was very responsive to the one issue we had with the gas fireplace. Would love to stay there again.

Great Little Condo In a Great Location

Our family stayed here for a week & loved it! We have 2 kids (8 & 13) and 2 English Bulldogs. The kids shared the pullout sofa just fine. The area is quiet and beautiful. We all really loved Moose Alley for breakfast (went twice) and for bowling. We also enjoyed browsing the shops in town and watching a movie at Lakeside Theater. The condo was clean & comfortable.

Cozy and convenient

This attractive condo is perfect for a couple. Though small, it is comfortably furnished and well supplied with kitchen and other household items. Ski in/ski out was especially welcome during Covid. The view to the north, through a huge sliding glass door and a window alongside, is gorgeous. Even with outdoor temperatures hovering around zero, the condo was toasty warm. Communication from the rental agents was excellent; they even offer discounted lift tickets. Check in and out couldn't have been easier. We definitely plan to come back!

Fantastic Stay!!

We had the BEST 1st visit to Saddleback! The condo was very clean and perfect for our family of 4. The ladies at Morton & Furbish Vacation Rentals were SO helpful and quick to respond to my every question! The only 2 things I would make other guests aware of is there are no hot mitts or pot holders for taking items out of the oven so we used the dish towels and the sleeper sofa wasn't quite what we thought it would be - it's more of a fold out sofa that sits on the floor - fine for young kids but had it been older kids or adults it probably would not have worked. But every thing was great and we have not complaints! We can't WAIT to return!!!

The unit we stayed in would benefit from 3 adjustments. 1. upgrade the sleeper sofa or stop calling it one. You can't really sleep on that thing without putting something like an air mattress over it once it's pulled out. 2. Add blinds to the sliders. A lot of light comes in there in the am. This is fine if you're trying to hit the 1st chair, but not great if the lifts are down due to wind and there is no reason to get up early (and you're sleeping on the sofa). 3. Since it is marketed as having a sleeper sofa, you should probably remove some of the furniture so the sofa can actually have room to open.
