Beautiful, newly renovated open concept home. Private property with mountain views and lush green landscaping. Pool/spa, fire pit, putting green and outdoor shower.


OUTDOOR SPACE

The amazing private backyard was made for relaxing in the sunshine. This backyard features a private pool and hot tub / spa, a huge (real) green grass yard with plentiful palm & citrus trees, cactus’ and other desert plants, a patio with fire pit, and a brand new putting green with 4 holes. Catch sun in the chaise lounges and enjoy great views of the mountains. Rinse off in the beautiful outdoor shower. Eat and drink al fresco under the covered patio with your family and friends.


INTERIOR SPACE

The inside of the property was completely remodeled in 2022. It features an open floor plan with a brand new kitchen, living and dining area. The kitchen features a 10-foot island, premium Bertazzoni stainless steel appliances (refrigerator, dish washer and 5 burner gas range with convection oven), two sinks (one looking out the window at palm trees and mountains and one prep sink on the island), and a 33 bottle and 70 can dual zone wine and beverage refrigerator. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for meal prep. There are stools at the counter for a casual meal or set the dining table for a sit-down meal together, with the modern CB2 chandelier above. Enjoy a TV show or a movie on the 65 inch Samsung Smart TV while sinking into the large, comfortable couch. Sliding glass doors through the back of the home allow for beautiful views of the lush landscaping and mountains.


SLEEPING QUARTERS

Bedrooms are located away from the living space on one side of the house. Each bedroom has a desk, perfect for working remotely. The main bedroom features sliding glass doors to the outside with mountain views, queen bed with nightstands, dresser, desk, a brand new en-suite bath with open concept shower and separate soaking tub, huge vanity with two sinks, separate toilet room and large walk-in closet. Guest bedroom #1 has a full size bed and a twin bed with trundle, dresser, nightstands, desk and large closet. Guest bedroom #2 features a queen bed with dresser, nightstand, garment rack, and desk. Guest bathroom that has a shower/tub combination with modern blue tile and fixtures.


THINGS TO DO

This property is located in the beautiful community of Rancho Mirage which is one of the most popular vacation destinations in the desert often referred to as the “Presidents playground”. It’s on a quiet street and is centrally located between downtown Palm Springs (15 minutes) where you’ll find restaurants, nightlife and shopping, and world famous El Paseo shopping in Palm Desert (10 minutes). Palm Springs Airport is 15 minutes away. Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Target, Albertson’s, and more are all within 10 minutes. There is a coffee shop within walking distance (about 3 minutes, depending how fast you walk) that has delicious, fresh made French pastries daily (RM Coffee). And of course, no shortage of golf courses nearby.

It is in a great walking neighborhood zoned with horse properties and the Butler-Abrams Trail only a couple blocks away. Multiple hiking trails are close by including the famous "Bump and Grind." The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens is close by (15 minutes away) or or take a trip to explore the Salton Sea (30 minutes away) or Joshua Tree National Park (45 minutes away)!


GENERAL

Rancho Mirage requires monthly minimums (28 days) for rentals. (https://ranchomirageca.gov/residents/short-term-rentals/)

The minimum age for this property is 28 years. No smoking. No events or parties. No outdoor music or noise after 10:00 pm.

Pool/spa can be heated for $75/day (actual energy costs) which is optional but recommended for stays during Oct-May.

Exceeded Expectations

The photos on the website promised a lovely home with modern design and quality on the inside and an oasis like outdoor garden with pool and spa. The yard was fenced and felt private. The nearby hills changed colors as the sun rose above and fell behind them. Importantly the host was quick to respond to calls and texts if we needed answers about how to operate things inside or outside of the house. My wife and I have only one regret, We should have rented the property for two months instead of one.
