「This is an exceptional place to stay. The family is very friendly and welcoming, the breakfasts are delicious and excellent quality. The room is well appointed and quiet. We were really well looked after during our visit and we hope to return before too long.」

「I had a wonderful nights stay in a king size bed in an extremely quiet farm away from normal life. There was a good view of the splendid fireworks from the Summer ball down in Tavistock that night, then waking up to a lovely cooked breakfast.
The couple were very helpful throughout and I will book again.

No breakfast or food but we only used as a base to visit relatives so that didn’t matter.

You can do as much or as little as you like using this as a base. We just love the ambience of the whole area. We did trips by car, train, boat, bus as well as feet. Would visit again. 「The unique thing about the Halfway House Inn is that it is truly dog friendly, no rip off £15 - 20 a night charge that we got at all the other hotels/pubs we stayed in on our 18 days away. We were made to feel welcome with our dog and not treated like 2nd class citizens」
