The Wheelhouse

3.0 star property
7.4 out of 10, Good, (16)
"Location is right on the harbor, beautiful views of a small but lovely fishing village. Room was surprisingly big, well decorated with an excellent bathroom. Enjoyed painting of harbor which was an exact match to looking out the window! Mevagissey has very little parking and narrow streets, but parking is provided about 200 yards away so it's an easy walk."

"We are walking the SWCP so location of this accommodation is just off the path right in the heart of Mevagissey. Would certainly consider coming back again for longer stay to investigate the area better. It was a Saturday Night we stayed, weather was superb and Mevagissey was buzzing. So have great memory of our brief stay."

"This was absolutely the best family vacation we have had! Tracey and Neal were fantastic in meeting all our needs in a casual friendly manner. We had children and grandchildren coming from different countries, total of 11. The house is so beautiful and spacious and all the gathering areas near the pool, family room and outside made it so comfortable. The meals were exceptional and so generous. We loved that we could hike a short distance to 2 beaches and the ferry to Plymouth. The teens liked...

"The apartment is right on the hoe. Plenty of places to see. Lots of dog walks. Town centre is walkable too. The apartment itself was lively and clean and bright. The only gripe I had was the people in the upstairs apartment were very heavy footed and made my dogs nervous."

"Regrettably, we had to leave swiftly after the internal security door to our apartment failed and we had an intruder enter our apartment whilst we were in it!! This was very distressing and concerning being a family with a small child. Subsequently , we reported it to the Police (and owner) as internal security failings compromised our stay and we had to leave earlier than planned through fear of who else may have been able to gain access to us and our child. Would never stay here again and has...
