I had a great stay at Vista Sol Punta Cana. The renovated room upgrade was worth it, right in front of the beautiful beach. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food wasn’t amazing in general, but El Mariati and Teppanyaki Restaurant have a great food and awesome service. The spa was a highlight with great amenities, and Maria was amazing. She made me feel well taken care of. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable experience!

I have always enjoyed Punta Cana but this resort was extremely disappointing. First off the employees were not friendly at all, which was shocking when usually the employees are so friendly in Punta Cana. The room did not look like it did on Expedia. The AC was not powerful and the beds were uncomfortable as well as the pillows. The buffet was terrible. Meat was overcooked and they did not offer steak knives. In addition every night I had to wait for clean glasses and utensils. The restaurants were slightly better if you could make a reservation. The only nice employee was the lady who cleaned our room. The entertainment by the pool was just okay, again only the employee with the mic was entertaining, those around him looked miserable and just seemed like they didn’t want to be there which is why they wouldn’t get a lot of participation from guest. I would definitely not recommend this place.

The resort itself was nice for the price, pool was good with lots of activities both in the pool and on the beach. The food-both buffet and restaurants were definitely lacking compared to all of the other places we have been. The lobby bar made great drinks. We would likely not return to this resort and spend a little more money on a nicer one due to the food.

Exterior areas of the resort are nice and well maintained. The room in building 5 was poorly maintained, the lock on the door had previously been broken and the door was seriously damaged. Every door in the building was fitted incredibly tightly leading to the issue. Upon arrival the room was full of mosquitos. There didn't appear to be any active mosquito management like in some other resorts. It was clear thay the room we stayed in had recently been painted, paint splatter over the phone and some furniture. Food in the buffet was average, but plentiful. The restaurants that you have to book at were all good, food was delicious and service was excellent. The beach is reasonably well maintained. Any activities were not very well advertised around the resort or at check in. Overall, give the price it's a pretty reasonable resort.

The private beach was my favorite part. Great spa experience. Also Super close to downtown. But For the most part, staff could be nicer. The food was pretty bad. We only ate at the hotel once during my whole trip. Lacked entertainment and EVERYTHING closes at 12 midnight. Be advised, the beds are very hard and lack comfort.

From the moment that we arrived, every staff member that we encountered was helpful, informative and very friendly! There was always a Vista Sol staff member or onsite security willing & able to guide us &/or point us in the right direction to the amazing amount of amenities that they have. The daily activities calendar was visibly available as soon as you check in. The room was PERFECT, spacious & clean. The breakfast/lunch/dinner buffet was plentiful! If/when a food item was no longer available all you have to do is ask the staff for more availability & they'd be more than happy to check & likely bring more out! It is kind to tip for the extra effort. Make sure to book a reservation at the restaurants which is included. I recommend an early dinner booking (6:30-8:30) & if you'd like to pick up an extra bite you can wander over to the buffet since it's open until 10pm for dinner! I will definitely be going back as soon as I'm able to. As my 1st ever all inclusive stay, I was absolute impressed! Pool has a swim to bar & some drinks are included, again tip your bartender well when possible! Front desk can help with changing large bills. Hope this review if helpful & that you enjoy your stay as much as we did! 10/10

Room's were cleaned regularly. Most of the staff were nice and friendly except a few. Weilson at the reception was super nice and friendly. Food could be a little better. Drinks were endless but felt like alcohol was diluted a lot. So always had to ask for extra alcohol and then still wouln'd get the buzz. Once I knew the trick, I would always ask to customize my drinks. Snacks by the beach were adequate but pizza quality wasn't good at all. I had much better pizzas and snacks at a different resort in the past. VIP area snack and drink bar can improve a bit. VIP area had no issues with drinks but lack the snacks and most of the time ran out of foods and coconuts but for a relaxing private area with less crowd VIP area was amazing to relax and enjoy the beauty.

The staff was amazing.The property was beautiful.The pools were clean but the fact that the dining area is wide open and very hot was not very pleasant and the fact that the birds were coming in trying to steal your food was very annoying
