「Nice location a few km out of Rotorua. The park-like grounds are a bit odd with the Alice in Wonderland themed art, but peaceful and with nice views of the lake in the distance. The rooms are well appointed but have zero soundproofing: you will hear your neighbors snore and chat, and doors are so flimsy you hear everything going on in the common areas. 「Place was a dump. Toilet didn’t work properly, television didn’t work, remote needed batteries, wifi didn’t work properly. The food menu wasn’t even close to the pictures on line. It was run down and was a disaster. We paid for two nights but checked out after one. Only positive was Claire the manager. 」
