"Very cute a-frame in pleasant neighborhood, home is totally private as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!"

"Cute little place. Provided a keurig but only had tea. No big deal just noting. Bathroom lighting is not great. Heating is hot as hades or cold. Hard to find happy medium with baseboard heat but to be expected. If you’re parking an SUV, plan to finagle your way out. Overall, I was happy with this unit."

"What a beautiful, thoughtfully constructed cabin! It had all the amenities you could want. Lots of great information about the area. We had thought it would be a little closer to the beach but the walk really wasn’t too bad. The road noise was a bit irritating when you hanging out outside but didn’t affect our sleep. "Our 3rd visit - to relax and enjoy the lake front getaway. How often can you make everybody happy? Smiles from the teenager (Kayak and swim is next, no time to text). Smiles from the wife (read/take in the rays/sun), Smiles from the dog (walks/room to run). Heck even dad was caught smiling (coffee/and a view, eve on the dock w a brew)…."

"A nice quiet place by the water! I was in the area for a rehab seminar by myself and it was a nice quiet place to relax. Easily one of the best places to have a cup of coffee and watch the wildlife on the water! The down the grassy trail to the steps can be a little sketchy in a downpour but it’s otherwise worth it! "

"Our stay at The Cabin was just great! The weather allowed the three kids in our party to play outside for hours and hours—they loved the lawn when the tide was high and the beach when the tide was low. Everyone was charmed by the log cabin interior and the stairs to the third bedroom were fun for us. The kitchen and bathrooms were nice and we appreciated the seating options since there were seven of us. I’m not sure when we’ll have the opportunity to go back but would consider The Cabin again!"

"A brand new facility minutes from Pioneer Square. Exceptionally well outfitted (toaster, fridge, freezer, microwave, 2 burner induction plate, cups/glasses, silverware, etc. etc.). Small but comfy, with chair, sofa and desk / desk chair, so possible to work or just relax. The bed in my unit was up on a loft and required going up a fairly straight up metal ladder of 5 steps.
