We arrived in Jan (off season) it was super quiet and what we wanted (we were the only ones there besides staff) allowing us to take amazing pics (I haven’t n loaded yet) it was a great experience. Although at night, I did get a tiny bit concerned when we went back to tip the staff and there wasn’t anyone to be found. Nothing bad happened in fact we are planning on coming back. The view was great the amenities were great as well. We ordered dinner that wasn’t included and breakfast and it was tasty. They gave us unlimited free coffee and there was water in the room too. Also there was beer in the room refrigerator but we didn’t touch that because we didn’t know if it was a charge for it. Only thing I would change is for front desk staff to be a little bit more friendly. The interaction was a little bit awkward kind of unwelcoming but other than that everything was great! We referred them already too many locals and our family and friends back in the US

We called ahead for a late check-in and were greeted at the gate by a man holding a shotgun and a beer. He proceeded to show part of our party to their room and stated that he would be back to take the “gordita” to her room, meaning myself. Entering the room, there was no air conditioner running until he turned it on, which was a portable unit and nothing, and I mean nothing, was plugged in. Our welcome drinks were 2 hot bottles waters. The rest of our party came to my room because their a/c was not working in their room and mine was working at a minimum. Early in the morning, we had an excursion pick-up at 7 am. We were unable to address the issues we were having with our accommodations because there was no staff available and to also address that our power was completely out at this time. After returning from our excursion at 5 pm, we packed our belongings and met in the lobby to checkout. Thank God for Luke, who was a Rockstar! Luke handled the situation like a Pro and needs a raise!

The food was probably the best I've had on vacation. But the amenities listed on the website Vs what was actually there were very different. There was no beach bar or even beach access for that matter. Long walk to a private undeveloped beach which we did enjoy. But did not have any amenities, such as umbrellas. Chairs and definitely no bar as advertised. There was only one bar and restaurant open for the duration of our stay.

The resort was cozy and warm. Small in size but still confortable. Long food wait time, first night waited 2 hours for our meal after they prioritized a reservation that ordered and showed up later than us. Second day after we spoke about it they had more cobsideration and did not offer reveration priority y meal time. Otherwise a nice hotel to stay at. Needs faster food and beverage times.
