The room was fairly clean, the shower was a little dirty and the sink kept clogging. The electricity was also not working well so some of the lights would not turn on and the outlets would not work at times.

The rooms are gorgeous, clean and quite spacious. The service by everyone was excellent and the complimentary evening dessert delivery to your door everyday was a really nice touch. What was not great was we were quite disappointed with the beach area. It looks nothing like the photos that they have on the Expedia listing photos. It’s very small and cramped and it would appear no effort has been made to clear even a pathway to the water with all the seaweed. Many other hotels had workers out every morning at least trying to haul it away. If you are wanting to spend time on the beach at the hotel and that is important to you I would look for a different place to stay.

The hotel is nice, but noisy like being in at an indoor swimming pool. The food was good all round with several options. Probably the best was the Samurai sushi restaurant, the buffet is pretty impressive for the size and it’s spread out so it’s not too crowded. The manhattan was seriously disappointing and came to our table ice cold. The resort as a whole is a great family friendly vacation. Rooms were great and spacious we stayed in a family room with two adults and two kids and there is plenty of space. Lots of people mentioned it’s outdated but keep in mind this is Mexico so we weren’t disappointed at all. The beds were pretty comfortable which is a must in my opinion. The staff were a mixed bag, some were absolutely fantastic and kept the drinks flowing all day long without waiting. And others would not even acknowledge you or seemed kind of snobby. If you tip well the service will be outstanding! I noticed a lot of people did not. Two things I did not like was the fact that after 8 pm you cannot get to the beach at all. No exceptions and all the adult night life ends at 11pm. Even the night club. But overall we had a fantastic vacation there and I would rate this place a pretty decent hotel for the price

Older building. Needs updating.

The Wyndham Grand is a great place that we love to visit. The staff are amazing and the reason why we always return back there.
