"Our check in was incredible. We got to check in early, we requested an upgrade and were given a room that was available. They left us a gift in our room for our Babymoon. The staff were exceedingly friendly at every level, and the room servicing was efficient and amazing. We had a wonderful spa day during our stay and our only note there is that it’s only missing a cold plunge. Food was amazing at Brown’s and the breakfast buffet is really good as well as the happy hour —shoutout to Christian at the bar who made us a custom drink and wrote it down so we could request it even when he wasn’t on shift. Great snorkeling with complimentary equipment for 1 hour (which is more than enough to see all the amazing fish, coral, and sea turtles). Very family friendly and we can’t wait to come back with our kids."

"We love Puako, and this home offers the perfect location to watch sunrises over Mauna Kea and sunsets over the ocean across the street. The home is very private and offers a floorplan where the bedrooms are on opposite sides of the common areas. The host is a delight to work with and very responsive to insure that your stay goes smoothly. "

Food is terrific (especially Canoe House; fabulous meal and service!), hospitality was warm and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable with an incredible view, the golf courses and pools and beach amenities were five-star, and the overall vibe was relaxing and posh without being pretentious. "Have never had a VRBO rental with as many amenities as this one. Paper towels, tissue boxes everywhere, soaps and cleaning supplies, and a pantry with some of the basics.The home was spotless, the linens were great, and the welcome book explained everything."
