「We had a very good stay at the Grand Hotel President in Sorrento. The staff were helpful, the hotel was clean, and the breakfast had a good variety of options. The hotel is about an 8-minute shuttle ride from Sorrento’s center, with the shuttle running approximately once an hour. A taxi costs around €35. 「Although hotel is located up in the hills, the property offers a free shuttle bus from the closest station and the scenery from the hotel was spectacular, so great! Room was very spacious and clean - better than posted pictures in Expedia! I highly recommend and hope to visit there again! Hotel staff also tried to talk us in Japanese so also recommendable to Japanese」

「The B&B was nice and clean. It is a small place with 8 rooms. Alex, the owner helped us with different subjects as places to visit, taxi, buses etc. The place is quite a ways from downtown Sorrento, but once you know how the bues works it’s helful. It’s a quiet place with not much to do around besides a nice Little Town called Sant’Agata about 10-15 minutes walking distance. If you want to be close to the night life, it might not be the spot you are looking for ( we did 1 week downtown...

「We had an amazing view of the sea from which we dined at our balcony a couple of times. The hosts were welcoming and very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the dinner was great. They were able to book our tours and arrange transportation from the hotel to the airport/train station. We would highly recommend staying here.」

「It is a very nice hotel, but it is far away from Sorrento beach and on a mountain. Great views for Sorrento coast and hills. Old property a little bit, but it kept clean and neat. Staff is amazing and breakfast was great!」

「Rustic and modern at the same time. We stayed up the hill in the Casa Romita building, an historic villa converted to guest rooms. Mt. Vesuvius was obvious from our lanai, and fortunately did not erupt. AC was a must, as Italy is HOT this September and the friendly staff and self-serve espresso maker were both much appreciated. Desk staff coordinated tours and transportation without complaint or glitch. We will return, and highly recommend this gem of a holiday getaway in the hills above...
