It’s an older house but it was very charming. The mattress in our room was comfortable. The amenities were plentiful as well. Also, the location is nice; there was plenty nearby to walk to. We would happily stay here again.

The owner was very friendly and very helpful. This location is close to many restaurants and bars in the area if you were looking for things to do.

this property is not what was advertised at all, the property was listed on sale, not suitable for rent. There is no secured lock for the room and there is no private bath ether, The shared bath was full of dirty towers. Expedia didn't do a necessary inspection to list this terrible property for rent. I called Expedia immediately when I checked in and requested booking for a different hotel and refund for this property, But never received refund. Expedia was not reliable at all.

Very charming place with terrific host
This is an old but very charming house. My room was quite spacious and comfortable. Bill is a very gracious, helpful, funny, and friendly guy who’s very knowledgeable about all sorts of things. Breakfast was quite good. House is a few feet away from Alberta Street- lots of restaurants, etc., there. Neighborhood is a bit funky but quite charming with lots of quirky looking people but that’s what you’d expect in Portland. The only problem that I had was that i couldn’t’ use my cell phone; I thought it was a problem with my antiquated phone but subsequently surmised that the area was.in a dead zone for my phone service that uses the Sprint network.

It was a Beautiful property in the heart of the Alberta art district. Classic fixtures and furniture added to the comfort of the stay
