The upper unit of a two-unit house, up a flight of steps from the street.
Bedrooms: three, each with a queen bed, all on the one floor.
Living room: a couch and a 50" TV, with the Tilikum Crossing in the view.
Kitchen and dining: fully equipped, with a farmhouse table that seats six.
Bathroom: one, with the washer and dryer. Each room has its own mini-split for heat and AC. A crib is available.
The unit is yours. The lockbox is next to the front door and the code comes by message before arrival. There are steps up to the entrance. Bags can be dropped from noon. The lower level of the house is a separate apartment with its own entrance.
Check-in is self-guided, so you can arrive on your own schedule. I'm a message away whenever you need anything during your stay.
This is the industrial-turned-residential west end of Division, where the street starts its run of restaurants. Pine State Biscuits is four minutes away, with the rest of inner Division east of it. Ladd's Addition's rose gardens are a five-minute walk, Clinton Street's cafes and theater about 15. The Tilikum Crossing, a 16-minute walk, is a car-free bridge to OMSI and the South Waterfront. Hawthorne is a 15-minute walk north.
Parking is on the street. In front of the house it's limited to two hours from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday through Saturday, and unrestricted evenings and Sundays. Three or four blocks east the limits end, and we'll send a map of where to leave a car for the week.
The MAX Orange Line at Clinton and 12th is a 9-minute walk and runs to downtown in 10 minutes. Driving, downtown is 7 minutes and PDX airport 17.
The entrance is up a flight of exterior steps. Freight trains run on the tracks a block away, mostly in the daytime, and you'll hear them. Towels are provided, washcloths aren't.
Parties and extra guests get reported and shut down, and the booking ends.
