Modern 590' sq. house with handmade sight-specific furniture. Great room with entry, kitchen, office and living areas. Separate bedroom with queen size bed. Sofa bed in living area for maximum of 3 adults in the cottage. House located in quiet area, convenient to shops, laundry and public transportation. 14 minutes car travel to downtown Portland. Convenient parking on quiet street.

Perfect Portland Home

We stayed for over 2 months while working in the city, and have no complaints about this place. It was a truly beautiful, quiet, and conveniently-located neighborhood. This district ended up being our favorite in the city, and we could easily walk to our favorite restaurants, coffee shops, and stores. As far as commuting downtown, there were many public transit options and plenty of street parking. The apartment itself was extremely clean, well thought out, and lovely to be in. Can’t wait to come back!

This property is better suited for short stays. The shower is not suited for people with limited mobility. The decor is nice. The exterior has little space with neighboring cars close to the living room. I believe that the rental rate is about 20% too high.

Great Location

The Rose House Cottage is in a great location, in walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants! Quiet safe neighborhood for walks, and Warren (the property owner), was very responsive and easy to work with during our stay! We will definitely be recommending this house to friends and family in the future who may be staying in Portland.

Charming, comfortable and convenient. 5 Stars!

This cute cottage is in a lovely residential neighborhood with restaurants and shopping just a short walk away - and a bus close by to take you quickly into downtown Portland. The owner added a window air-conditioner when the area had record high temps during our stay. Great kitchen and lots of storage for clothes, etc. Charming decor and comfortable seating. We’ll be back!

Cozy House in a Great Location

Cute guest house and a quiet green street but walking distance to so many things! We were 5 minutes from a Safeway and 10 minutes from a Fred Meyer and only a 5 minute walk to the bars/restaurants/shops on Division St. There are also multiple bus lines nearby that made it easy to get around Portland. Parking was easy in front of the house.

Peaceful retreat

The cottage was comfortable, versatile ( full kitchen, work desk, fold down couch and folding mattress in addition to the bedroom) and in a quiet neighborhood. For my purposes - quiet environment for working remotely, it was perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

A+ Accommodations!!

Staying here was truly a delight. Warren's home is located in an excellent location, close to plenty of bars, shops, and restaurants. The home itself is perfectly cozy and has all that you'll need for your stay. If you are debating whether or not to book, go ahead and do it!
