  • Life's a Beach is Gulf front seclusion at its finest! With 180 degree panoramic Gulf Front views, this home is designed to maximize the beauty of Cape San Blas from both inside the home and out. You'll enjoy the soft, sugar white sands our area is known for while having privacy and tranquility. This updated home with a modern open concept living, dining and kitchen space is the perfect space for everyone in your group. Three king bedrooms and a sleeping loft (all with ensuite bathrooms) give everyone their own private space. The elevator services 3 floors of the home (top floor master can't be accessed with the elevator), Wi-Fi, a landline for your use, TV's in each bedroom, and ample parking. All bed and bath linens are provided. We do not provide beach towels. This is a magical place for sure. The house is huge and right on the beach. The property is true to what’s pictured. Lots of rooms with beautiful views from most. Kitchen had all you needed if you chose to cook. While you are directly on the beach, getting there is not as easy as you’d think. If you are young and fairly healthy you’ll have no problem. But if you’re older or have health issues it can be quite strenuous. You walk out on the 2nd floor deck and there’s a boardwalk. Not a big deal, but there are two holes towards the end of it so be careful. From there you go over a little sand dune, down some stairs that are kind of covered with sand so again be careful. From there you descend down a fairly large dune. Not too bad going out, but coming back and having to go up the dune was rough especially when toting your beach gear. I don’t mention this to be a negative. Only to make future renters aware so they can take this into consideration if they aren’t in the greatest shape. Once on the beach you kind of forget about the walk there and back because it is breathtaking. For the most part we were alone all week in our little area. To the left facing the gulf we hardly saw anyone all week. To the right there is an RV park and some condos so it did get quite busy there. But we were never crowded. Overall this place was amazing. There were some small issues along the way but the host responded appropriately. A few things need some TLC but we absolutely loved our stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for 3 nights. The house was quite pretty, and its location offered both great convenience and privacy. However, upon our arrival, we discovered the house was not clean. There were two full trash cans left by the previous guests, and the basement bathroom still had a lot of hair on the drain. Additionally, the bedroom in the basement had hairs on the pillow. The smell downstairs was not pleasant, the dishwasher still contained food, and the kitchen had not been cleaned. We had to spend about an hour cleaning the space ourselves. I'm not sure if the cleaning company inspected the house after they finished cleaning.I would have given the overall experience 3 stars, but the people in the property management company went above and beyond to address our concerns. They were super awesome and professional, which made up for the other negative experiences we had. Thank you so much to Mary and Barbie – you both are amazing!
