Great location! This house needs updating big time though. Dryer would say 00 minutes left and would still be running. Dishwasher had error code and was still trying to do something 5 hrs after it was turned on. Rust spots all over front of refrigerator which look terrible. Shower rod in king bed bedroom needs to be moved out or curved rod put in so you don’t have to touch the curtain. TV remote in living room went dead after a couple of hours of being there. Light didn’t work on back porch. Ceiling fan in king bed bedroom had super clicking going on. Sliding door glass in back bedroom was all cracked up. The grout in the living room was cracked up. Most all rentals have at least one trash bag under the original one but not this one. We’ve stayed at several vacation rentals and this one could definitely benefit from some changes/updates.

Great Stay

We had a great stay at this townhouse! The location is perfect—just steps from the beach, which made it easy to come and go throughout the day. The community is quiet and well-kept, and the space worked really well for our family of six. The bunk beds were a smart use of space and the layout gave everyone room to spread out.The beach chairs provided were decent and definitely came in handy. A couple of things to note: the beds were a bit too soft for our liking, and the kitchen could use more storage containers for leftovers and food prep. But overall, this was a very comfortable and convenient place to stay, and we’d definitely consider coming back!

Great Condo

Wonderful location! Pots, pans, plates ect. were a little understocked for a family that cooks every meal because of food allergies but more than adequate if you are not planning on eating in every meal.

Great week with family!

We loved the location of the property. The checking process was very easy and when needed to reach the owner they responded quickly. The pictures were a little different the bathroom was not a walk in tub with glass door and the deck doesn’t have the couch. However it does have a bigger table and umbrella which was a plus for our big family. They loved having lunch on the deck after swimming. The upper sliding glass door is broken but doesn’t affect it in any way. The cookware could use an update. We could not find the playpen that was listed. My kids loved the beach gear that was left in the closet and the beach chairs were a plus. The upstairs rooms tvs cable doesn’t work or we couldn’t figure it out. We had a really great week and would definitely stay at this property again. Love stump hole it was great for pictures.

Perfect place to get away

Beautiful ocean views from bedroom porch. Plenty of comfortable furniture in the home to accommodate our family of 5. Close to boardwalk. Easy check in/check out. Didn't cook but plenty of bowls & silverware for cereal. and snacks.

Outdated unit

We loved the property and will stay here again but we won’t stay at this unit. It was very outdated, the beds were awful and the kitchen was very poorly stocked. The burners on the oven were in need of replacing. Again nice complex but not a great unit.

Nice time away

The condo was just as described. It’s dated but the location is awesome. Plus we could have our dog. Cape San Blas is a great vacation destination, especially if you want some downtime. The king sized mattress was extremely noisy and not comfortable. The bathrooms were small and the AC did not cool the upstairs in the extreme heat. With that being said- the location surpassed our expectations.

Great stay

Unit was great with location. However the deck has some wood rot by the balcony door and the mattresses are very worn and make you roll towards the middle of the bed. There are also some spots in the guest room where the floor is uneven.

Perfect

Perfect get away! Great location, just steps away from the beach. Perfect if you have pets our two Ridgebacks where well received by the other guest. We will definitely stay again.

Would not stay again

Our first visit to the Cape. My family from Georgia has came for years and we finally decided to make the trip from Texas with our 2 young kids. The only great thing about this property was the location. Beautiful views from back decks. I’ll highlight just a few disappointments we had.. the first MAJOR was the mold. You could smell it as soon as you step in the door…The outside building is filled with it, underneath the sinks the cabinets were rotting out (severe health hazard). Fortunately I had family that rented another condo on the property and we were able to sleep there after the first night of no sleep and stuffy noses. My 1 year old could only be in the condo for about 15 minutes before her eyes became puffy ( & she’s not allergic to dogs we have one) We were told in the details there would be a pack n play (never found it), sheets on bunk bead were beaded, we tried to cook, but could not because of the dirty burners on stove that started smoking the kitchen. All kitchen appliances are pretty old (coffee maker was nice) and they could use some new toilet bowl cleaners (under the bathroom sink) my little one found one and it was absolutely filthy. I hate to be a negative Nancy, but I put alot of money into flights and the stay and unfortunately the owners need to put A LOT of work into this place. Thank you to the property manager for responding quickly to the smoke alarm dying and getting the batteries changed promptly.

New favorite vacation spot

This will be our new spot! Love love love that it was a pet friendly unit! Our doggo had a great time! Condo was clean upon arrival. Short walk to beach. Our only hiccups were, the disposal didn’t work, but someone came the next day to fix. The room facing the beach has the queen bed and the king bed is in the room facing the road and the king bed is very squeaky, and lastly we had 2 vehicles and had to park one way up so we could fit both cars but then this blocks the outside hose and shower. I wish the hose was by the stairs so we wouldn’t have to walk back through the sand. We had the best time though and can’t wait to come back!!!

Comfortable and great location

This is our 2nd year at CSB and first year at this unit. It is nicely set up and clean. Great location. Love the Barrier Dunes community. Would definitely rent here again.

Cape San blas.

Floors needed cleaning a lot. Dog hair behind most furniture , we vacuumed ourselves, but tile floors on all main level that needed a good mopping. King bed had major squeeks. Good location. Beach was beautiful.

Amazing Beach Vacation!

Me, my husband, and 3 of our friends rented this condo for a long weekend stay at the beach. You can see the water from both balconies, and you’re just steps away from the ocean-front pool. The condo had everything we needed for the stay and was very spacious. It rained most of our trip, but we still had a great time and can’t wait to come back next year!

Great ocean view

This was a fun and convenient spot to vacation. It's just steps from the beach and pool. The ocean views are some of the better ones we've had at Barrier Dunes. Really enjoyed staying here!

This was our first trip to cape San Blas and I cant say enough good things about it! Our condo was perfect and super close to the beach! (closer than the pictures look in my opinion)

Great Getaway!

Great beach access! Very affordable rental with surprising amount of space and amenities. Great space for socializing and easy to breakaway from the group to take a quiet nap. Would definitely rent this place again!!

Cozy, great for families

Good communication, nice place, close to the beach. Enjoyed the heated pool, tennis courts, bike rides around the area. Great fried shrimp a few miles away.
