"Our host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire stay. We actually had another reservation before this, but they refused check-in because we have a large dog. Thankfully, we found this beautiful place instead — and everything turned out perfect.The property is directly connected to the river, so our dogs were able to swim and enjoy themselves, which made the trip even more special. The interior was also very stylish, clean, and luxurious. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone traveling with dogs.I know how difficult it can be to find accommodations when traveling with large dogs. That’s why I’m especially grateful for hosts like this who welcome guests and their dogs so warmly.I also hope guests will be considerate in return — cleaning up after themselves and leaving the property in good condition at check-out. I think that mutual respect is what helps places like this continue to stay pet-friendly for future travelers."

"Not secure in any way! Management are rude and condescending! They are not welcoming. This establishment woulnd not honor my booking through Expedia. They blamed Expedia compter systems for not getting payment and demanded that I cancel through Expedia and pay them cash!! A Scam!!! "

"The Southern Hotel is a marvelous place to spend your time while traveling. It is a beautiful property which is well maintained and a staff that is friendly and efficient. "Arrived after midnight it was storming. Both young ladies were very attentive. The staff was over the top friendly and had great suggestions on places to eat and do. Bed was comfortable room smelled clean. Wish room had a microwave.. but that is the only thing that I missed. Would stay there again."
