The train at the bottom Polybahn station. Opened in 1889, The Polybahn, is a funicular railway in the city of Zürich. The line links the Central square with the terrace by the main building of ETH Zürich. In 1970 the polybahn closed, and in 1996 was completely rebuilt. There are 2 stops, with automatic 2 cars on a single track with a passing loop. The track is 176m long and rises 41m, with an average gradient of 23%. It takes approx. 100 seconds to travel the distance and runs every 2 to 5 minutes.

Basic hotel in Winterthur, but did the job. Small rooms and very basically furnished. Staff was very nice. Would be nice if the breakfast also offered eggs.
