Pleasant town to visit. The Center is pleasant and easy to move around and it is very close to the lake. Pokhara is great for shopping with many small but rather sophisticated stores.

Nepal organic cafe and Lemongrass restaurant were my favorite. People are friendly. Area quiet and scenic. Shopping is great! Most people spoke English and communicated well. I defintely plan to visit again.

I was there to visit local friends. Pokhara is charming but growth has surged in recent years. Nearly 20 new hotels, many new stores--too many trekking shops IMO, and too much traffic. The air is getting more polluted, sadly. Bring on electric cars!
