「A tastefully and comfortably modernised pub in a somewhat downbeat village near the M1 and airport but surprisingly quiet. The M1 is white noise in the background. I couldn't hear the planes. Rooms in the pub's grounds were comfortable with parking right outside and the food was amazing, including breakfast. No soggy mushrooms! If I was a lone female traveller I would feel particularly safe here. Very happy that we broke our journey overnight and will definitely do so again. 」
「From the start to the end of our stay it was amazing. We could store our luggage and go away until the check in time. When we arrived back our luggage was even put into our apartment. The apartment was a home away from home with everything you would need, teas, sugar, sachets of milk, washing up liquid, sponge, tea towel. fluffy towels, shamppo, conditioner, hand-wash and body wash.
David was so welcoming and friendly every we saw him.
This will now be my go to place to stay when I visit...

「Excellent conversion of property into self contained rooms. No staff on premises but easy to gain entry via key box and code sent by text will arrival instruction. A good, cost effective way to stay. Pub right next door!」
「Lovely property. Nice and clean. Great range of features in the room including oven, microwave and fridge. Extremely comfy bed, and great aircon system for keeping cool. Location is just outside the main city centre area, so you are not blighted by the associated noise. But attractions are still within a comfortable walking distance, or their are bus services/stops in close vicinity. Overall a great stay.」
"The staff were all very kind and friendly. I am Japanese and my English is not very good, but they treated me with great courtesy. The only thing that concerned me was that the shampoo was not replenished during my stay, though I believe it would have been resolved if I had simply asked."
