The house is designed for fun and relaxation! Soak up the sun while lounging by the pool or in the hammocks. Take a dip in the pool when you need to cool off or relax in the garden lounge under the shade.

Important : This is a rental for the entire home. You will not be sharing it with anyone and you will have access to everything in the home.

Electricity costs are extremely high in Mexico and bad for the environment. Included in the rate is a credit of 40kWh (kilowatt-hour) per day. The credit allotted is typically sufficient for a normal Any additional consumption beyond the allotment will be charged 7 pesos per kWh (about 34 cents USD). Thanks for helping us with the environment!
SMOKING: Smoking inside the house is STRICTLY PROHIBITED and will result in a $100 USD

DAMAGES/LOST ITEMS: Any damage to the house/property or any missing items will be charged at its retail replacement value plus labor (if applicable).

HOUSEKEEPING: Keep the house clean and respect it as you would like others to respect yours. This is not a hotel. If you leave the house excessively dirty and/or with excessive trash you will be charged a $100-300 deep-clean fee, depending on how bad the mess is.

The property was nice. Although the description was not accurate. There are 4 rooms but the fourth room only has a bunk bed in it, no king bed. That complicated things for us. There were no hand towels, no toilet paper we had to buy some. There was no hot water. The property was clean, the pool was nice.

Family of 12 with 2 handicap elderly adukts for a 4 day stay

The house is nice. The outdoors area has a pool and a seating area. There is an outdoor shower that was nice to have especially after coming back from the beach and being able to rinse yourself. The kitchen came with all the things you would need but we didnt dare to keep any food there because the ants would have eaten us alive. They were crawling in through the cabinets and any little crumb would be taken over by ants. We tried warming up something in the microwave and the ants were in there as well. There is a tv and two couches to relax downstairs and a half bath that was nice. The laundry room has a washer and there is an area to hang your clothes outside to dry. Unfortunately it rained when we set our clothes to dry so they were more wet than when we hung them up. The upstairs has two bathrooms and three bedrooms that have large beds and areas to put your luggage. The showers do not have doors and the first bathroom off the stairs is inconvenient to shower. It does not drain correctly and you have to be pushing the water towards the drain with a squeegie they have in there for that purpose. The water was all over the bathroom and going into the hallway. The larger bathroom is very spacious.The first night we stayed the electricity and water went out and it was horribly hot and humid. The home owner did not repond right away and we had to call Vrbo to have them try to locate the owner. We slept in our car rental all night.

We didn’t end up staying and still haven’t gotten our money back !

The property was very spacious like the pictures which is why we chose it for our family . The communication with property manager wasn’t like other Vrbo properties I have previously stayed at with very vague check in details which was my first red flag . The location was hard to find for our cab driver and we were told that happens often . The neighborhood was also a little worrisome for our family and we were told by the property managers brother he would not advise us to walk to 5th from the property because it was a 30 min walk and we would have to cross the overpass . We were met there by the property owners younger brother. He gave us the keys and we instantly noticed the pool was not maintained and way smaller than the pictures made it seem. We asked to have it cleaned and he had no problem with that so we brought our stuff in . He left and we quickly noticed there were fire ants all over the living room walls and ledges and in the master bedroom as well . The more we looked the dirtier the place was . The door handles look like they hadn’t ever been cleaned, walls smeared with fingerprints , dead bugs on baseboards . I could go on and on… we immediately send the property owner videos for proof . We couldn’t stay there with small children… We asked for a refund and rushed to find new accommodations . We were told to leave immediately and contact vrbo for a refund . It been a couple weeks now and vrbo is telling to get the refund from the owner and vise versa 😡

Pros and Cons

Pros : Rooms had enough space . The setting of the place very nice . Good pressure in the showers. The house was secure with a gated door. The store was a min away for groceries. Plenty of sunlight Cons : limited blankets and pillows. Internet would come and go . One TV for the entire house . Restrooms were hot no AC .
