"Hotel was okay, but it didn’t meet my expectations given the price point setting and reputation. Service was inconsistent. While some staff members were friendly, overall interactions were not warm across the front desk, bar, and restaurant. The service also had a different feel from the very accommodating, welcoming interactions I’ve experienced at other hotels in the area and the Dominican Republic. At the beach, service felt particularly inattentive. We spent time seated there and no one came over to check if we wanted to order anything. One interaction in particular stood out. I went to the bar to order two piña coladas and then sat at a table in the common area by the bar to enjoy them. The space was mostly empty, with several empty large tables. A waiter approached and told us we couldn’t sit there because we were only two people. I explained that we were just finishing our drinks and would happily move if the table was needed, but he responded with visible attitude, rolled his eyes, and walked away. It felt unnecessarily rude and left a negative impression. Breakfast was very good, with lots of tasty options. The room was just okay—clean, but somewhat small and a bit cramped for the price. There’s also no door on the shower, which faces the bedroom and can feel awkward if you’re not traveling with a significant other. The beach setup was also somewhat limited, with only a few loungers on the sand, which didn’t seem sufficient for the number of guests. "

"Well the property is really close to paradise , cause the mountain and the beach .the bungalows have cocaroches and no hot waters runnig good , they're staff is young and no too professional .look and feel like short staff on the buffet , from my point just training and costumer service class for tree months and everything going to be 5 start do not forget the roaches on the bungalows "

"The Villa area is ideal with restaurants within walking distance although the villa Chef service was amazing.Very welcoming, check-in and check-out was simple and worry free. The Villa itself was spacious with great common areas and fantastic dinning area for 14 people. The 3 pool side accommodations were amazing.The Master Bedroom was "over the top" with a huge living room which was never used. The 2nd bedroom was clean with multiple beds. The 3rd bedroom with twin beds was clean but best suited for kids and not for adult couples. The final stand alone accommodation close to the pool was also small with only a Queen bed. With 7 adult couples there will be an inequity in room allocation that needs to be considered if its for strictly for couples. In-room safes were not operable during our stay which made securing our valuables difficult.All said, this is a great villa which we would not hesitate returning to in the future.Corrado"

"We loved our stay at the Mian penthouse condo. Our host Pedro was great! He responded quickly to every need & question and made sure we were well taken care of. The condo is beautiful. Right across the street from the Mosquito Boutique Hotel. We stayed 5 nights with our family of 8. The home was clean, well stocked and room for everyone. We especially enjoyed the rooftop pool and views. Easy walk every day to the beach thru Mosquito and really nothing but good to say about our stay. We had a blast! I suggested having some keurig pods available for guests to enjoy but other than that, we loved it. Everything you need. Amazing location. Gorgeous home. We will definitely be back:) "

The home itself is absolutely perfect: spotless, beautifully maintained, and in the best location—close to the beach a 5 minutes walk, great restaurants, and all the charm including the perfect sunrise & sunset!!the surfing school is fantastic, our girls did some lessons! Las Terrenas has to offer. One of our favorite spots was Mosquito, a lively place with salsa nights, a social club atmosphere, entertainment for all ages, and plenty of fun for kids and families. The food there is fantastic, and using the Comida app made discovering delicious meals so easy. Beyond the property and amenities, what made this trip special were the amazing people we met here—friendly, welcoming, and always ready to share a smile or a story. This is the kind of place where you can relax, recharge, and feel truly at home. I highly, highly recommend this home for anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Las Terrenas.
