Staff very helpful and welcoming, hotel is clean and pleasant, rooms are well sized and comfortable. Dining in the block around is limited, recommend a quick taxi to old town nearby for lots of good bars and restaurants.

A great hotel just a short walk from Phuket old town’s centre - ideal for exploring but nice to be a short distance away so it didn’t get too noisy at night. The staff were really helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. We enjoyed the rooftop bar which had some great views. Breakfast was amazing too.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Thailand. I will definitely stay there again next year. Their staff was excellent, especially Peng. He went above and beyond. It was quiet sleeping at night. It was in a great location. It had a fantastic breakfast and great service. I felt right at home.

The breakfast was great, with most thai food plus the pork rib soup. As we were family of three, and we paid for the extra person, however, we had to call room service for the extra towel, on a daily basis.

The hotel is well located and from there everything can be reached easily. We, a family of 4, enjoyed our stay very much! The staff is fabulous, and children are more than welcome. The breakfast buffet is delicious and has a big choice, even for vegans! The rooms are nice and clean! If possible, we would even give 6 stars! We very much recommend to stay at the Novotel!

Great with kids!

Great service from the staff when having kids! Our oldest was crying our jetlag so the staff provided toy and suggested to give us a key for one of us to go to the room while the other did the check-in! They also provided baby cot and baby bath. The room was wonderful with great space and comfortable beds. The breakfast was good with various kind of food. Also vegan and gluten free options. Would have been great with oat milk or a like.

Hotel airport drop off was horrible. The taxi driver kept harassing me for pictures with him while he was driving. This made me feel unsafe as a female solo traveler.

Showed me 3 different rooms and each one had a horrible smell in them. The lift is in major need of renovation too, the reception area is the best bit about the hotel. I refused to stay and argued them into a refund and moved to Ramada up the road.

Good points - reception and dining hall were beautiful. Room was fair but showing signs of wear and tear and could have done with a proper deep clean. Pool area was disappointing and would benefit from a bit of staging. The areas between the lifts and the rooms were nothing short of bleak and really need some art/plants , general dressing. We booked two nights here via Expedia for two adults and a 14 year old and specified her age. On arrival our room had one king size bed which all three of us were expected to sleep in. The hotel were going to charge us extra to put another bed in the room but it would have been too cramped so we ended up booking another adjoining room. The hotel is okay for the price and fine for a couple of nights but it is not 5 star by any stretch of the imagination. The staff are wonderful though
