"Beware! The only property access is a STEEP 200 metre cowpath over tree roots would be dangerous in rain. There were no clear signs Had to drive on that to go back to Bacalar, 25 km. away. Or room was in a building across from the gated facilities on the beach. We were not allowed to use the beach chairs, kayaks etc. Nor was there any breakfast or coffee available for purchase. "Property listed as 3 bedrooms house but only has two, we had to share bedrooms which did not give the privacy we were looking for, we contacted manager but he claimed not be responsible for the listing and that he would contact the responsible party. A day later he said he wasn’t able to obtain an answer and unable give any sort of credit nor other compensation. We left the property a day earlier than planned at a hotel disappointed to say the least."
