"This hotel has now become a Premier Inn. We booked in March to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We received an email from Premier Inn saying they would honour our booking.
This was not quite the case and we are still waiting to hear from Premier Inn.
Having paid in full through Expedia, was told at reception on booking in that we haven't paid so a credit card was presented and payment taken (again) from that. When we checked out, I had the email confirmation from Expedia which stated it had been...

"This is a modern hotel in an historic house with a fantastic restaurant attached. Not sure if the two are owned by the same group but probably. The check in is all virtual, no hotel staff are on site, and it went smoothly however I did have to step outside to get a decent cellular signal in order to check in. Close to the railway station. Excellent breakfast in the restaurant. Highly recommended!"

"Me, partner a, 2 kids aged 9 and 10 years old and parents 60ths have enjoyed to stay at this accommodation. Every spotless, there were everything you needed for cooking, comfortable bed etc. Just the internet signal was weak- but this was informed on advance. 48 min driving from Glasgow and 1hr and 48 min from Edinburgh. Short distance driving to the beach. We had a lovely time. Thank touz"
"Stayed at this property for Christmas week with our adult kids and hosted Christmas dinner for several local family members. The property was fantastic. Very clean and extremely well appointed, particularly the kitchen. We loved the cozy living room in the evenings for family games and movie watching. Bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms were well built. Location is lovely, tucked behind a new housing development but very private. Management company was responsive to issues, even sent out an emergency locksmith quickly when a door lock broke. Absolutely loved it."
