Excellent service, excellent location, excellent breakfast and the excellent amenities in the room, which is comfy and well fitted. The only thing to keep in mind, the bathroom is rather for small sized people

Six stars to the staff if I could. The hotel is cozy. The room is clean. The bed is comfortable. The staff were so kind and caring. They were so accommodating and treated me with kindness when I arrived early. I enjoyed the location as it is about a 15-30 minute walk to the main shopping areas. It is not too walkable to the popular tourist areas if it is too cold.

Excellent experience at Hôtel Bonne Nouvelle. Well-situated in the city, close to metro lines 4, 8, and 9. Lively area with restaurants and bars open late (but not so close that the noise is disruptive when you’re back in your hotel room). I stayed in the single room which was clean and compact. The bathroom got humid, even after keeping the window open, but otherwise it was perfect.

Great place to stay!

A really good little hotel. Good location with good breakfast. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Downside was intermittent WiFi, but that might be as I requested a top floor room which was in the roof, so maybe the WiFi struggled to get that far.

Mum and son trip

Booked a twin room as it was a mum and son trip. Plenty of room and spotlessly clean. Great shower. Breakfast good. In a really central area close to metro and lots of restaurants.

Great Hotel! The location is fantastic, really close to Metro stations, lots of lovely restaurants bars and shops. Staff were very helpful. Offered a free Wattsapp service for assistance while we were in paris, which we used. Room was nice, actually quite large for Paris! There was a bad leak in reception on check out day, but staff were on top of it. Quite noisy at night, but this is to be expected with a city hotel

Pro: friendly & helpful staff; spotlessly clean; good continental breakfast selection; comfortable bed. Con: looks shabby & very run down; disappointingly small “superior double” room, especially for the price; tiny lift that could barely hold 1 person with a suitcase; no restaurant or bar (we knew this), but immediate area was run down & wasn’t comfortable to walk out in the evening; coffee machine in room, but had to buy pods after the first 2 each day; no bottled water; no in-room safe; water for shower / basin often cold or luke warm as tank too limited for number of guests

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Bonne Nouvelle. The location is excellent, within walking distance to supermarkets, plenty of restaurants, and well connected by public transport. Reception is available 24/7, which was very convenient since we were traveling with our baby. The room was simple but very comfortable. It would have been even better with a small fridge, but we managed fine. The elevator is quite small, but having one at all is a plus in Paris. A highlight of our stay was the private transfer from the airport arranged by the hotel, it made our arrival much easier with a baby. On our last day, we accidentally lost our room key card, and it was replaced immediately without any issue. The hotel offers baby cots for an extra charge, though we didn’t use one since the bed was spacious enough for the three of us. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend Hotel Bonne Nouvelle.

The Bonne Nouvelle is a typical modest (but well-kept and appealing) Parisian hotel, located on a quiet block just a few blocks from a boulevard with bustling cafes and a Metro stop. The rooms are, unavoidably small (this is Paris, after all!) but designed to make the most of the available space. There is a desk, chair, rack to hang clothes on, and tall wide windows. Flat screen TV. The bathroom has a rain shower, which is a pleasant surprise, given the limited size of the stall. The staff is exceedingly cordial and helpful. This is the 6th Paris hotel we’ve stayed in during the last few years and I would put it at #2 on that list. The only complaint to make: the WiFi signal was spotty, especially late at night. That may have been just an issue with the location of our room.

Romantic tour in Paris

Location is good, five minute walking from metro Strasbourg Saint Denis or three minute from Bonne Nouvelle. Room is comfortable and size is reasonable, however the lift is tiny for two people with two suitcase. But that is typical France style. Continental breakfast not much choice but it is delicious.
