"Overall the infrastrcture was good, but lacking in details such as in room tea/coffee facilities, towel rails, table & chairs, iron. Also sun protection for balconies & over pool. Staff were helpful & mostly lovely, friendly."

"No restaurant even though still advertising as available Hotel is literally miles from nearest restaurant on mountainous roads with no lighting. We arrived after a long journey tired and hungry, only to be told nearest restaurant was 9 miles away. We paid for breakfast included and received a long life croissant an apple and orange on first morning, thereafter NOTHING There was no heating, in January and hence sheets were damp. We couldn’t wait to leave "

Although the front desk staff was kind (beware only speaks italian), the rooms are severely outdated (for example no TV in room, fridge and AC both appeared not to be functional), the dining menu is laughable (pre-selection of all meals each day with extremely limited choices and 500ml of water), the facilities are old and in need or renovation, the wifi is inexistant (we could not find any signal for the entire time we were at this property) AND the worst...

"We had a wonderful stay at the Marasusa complex in Parghelia. We found the apartment a little ‘tired’ and under equipped - a small saucepan, garlic press, larger dinner plates and better cutlery knives would help. The towels provided were clean but seemed very old and the pillows should have had pillow protectors on them. Having said that it was a very reasonable price and the complex itself has the most wonderful gardens and pool area. Again the communal furniture dotted around the gardens is...

"The grounds were beautiful. The pool was warm and clean..a car is needed as there is not many places that are safe to walk to. The description says there is a beach, there is no beach on property or walkable. We had an amazing dinner at Portale nearby recommended and arranged by owner. Amazing dinner but no real town to walk about. This is a great place if you have a car and want to explore nearby beaches. Close to the train station. "Great little apartment on an extremely well maintained complex. It had a great balcony with sea and pool views where we watched the sunset every night-what a treat! We were a party of 4- 2 teenage boys shared the bedroom and my husband and I slept on the sofa bed. It was very comfortable and we slept really well.
