「The room was pretty good, but it reeked of cigarette smoke. When we went to check out, I went to the office to tell them about it, there was no one there. There was no one working. They also don't provide even a simple continental breakfast. One of the biggest concerns is that they have a number of people that just LIVE at the hotel. We talked to the lady in the room next door to us and she has lived there since March - 6 months! The residents take their chairs out and sit in the parking lot...

「Room was large, clean and comfortable. We had an Oceanside room. The electronic foghorn went off every 15 seconds. There was also something vibrating often as well. The sound did not keep me awake but it was always there. They did warn about it at check-in and would offer a street side room if one was available. We chose to stay in the Oceanside room. Convenient to restaurants and Redwood Forest.」

「The property was pretty old. It was painted and clean, but still had the 1970’s vibe. Wood paneling, small stand up shower, old style key (no key card), etc. The rooms do not have A/C, but they do offer a portable fan and a mini fridge. No amenities other than an ice machine and coffee in the lobby. There are no elevators, so keep that in mind if you get a room on the second floor. Would not stay there again.」

「This place is affordable. Brittany was very helpful, and it is near the Jedidiah Smith park which is why we were there. Only complaint was the stain on the couch. Made me question the cleanliness of the place but it was still pretty clean for the most part. Some reviews say it feels seedy but it felt ok to me. The lot is well lit and they have security cameras if you do feel this way. We felt safe.」
