Cute little apartment, in a safe lovely neighborhood. I stay in Crescent City regularly for business and family trips, but this was a solo trip without my kids. I dislike the hotels in town so checked out this place. It was indeed a little Hideout. Cute cabin decor, kitchenette, living room where I could have a glass of wine with my family in town. The bedroom was large with a very comfortable bed. The grounds were wonderfully country with the requisite chickens, ducks and cat. Communications with Aneka, the owner, were great. Would recommend!

Redwoods Stop

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hideout. Aneka was the most hospitable and our hike on the Boy Scout Trail in the Jedediah Redwoods was great. The coast was amazing and not a far drive at all. If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely book again.

Lovely stay

Lovely little property close to the redwoods and beach as advertised. Adorable friendly animals outside. The property owner took wonderful care of us and made sure we were comfortable.

Fantastic Redwood Retreat

The Hideaway was a very cozy spot to stay while exploring the redwoods and crescent city. Only five minutes from town, but is super quiet and felt like a remote retreat. Aneka was a fabulous host and made our time very special.

Quiet rural retreat

On a celebratory July 4th, we had peace and quiet away from all the noise in Crescent City. We watched what fireworks we wanted to see from a scenic overlook nearby with about 15 locals, and are thankful our hostess suggested the perfect location. It's not the most modern facility, but it's clean, secure, and comfortable. Be sure to coordinate your expected arrival time so that the gate is opened for you. After you arrive, you'll have an opener so you can come and go as you please.

Relaxing Country Hideaway

Really quaint place with all the necessities. A thoughtful, lovely lady owns and manages this charming place that’s a little bit in the country complete with chickens and fresh organic eggs in the frig. We felt very at home and relaxed here.

The Hideout was awesome!

Aneka the host was great! She had recommendations for everything! Hiking, food and local attractions! The location was great with quick access to town and hiking trails. The Hideout was great as we were in and out every day a great home base!

Perfect Northern CA Getaway

The Hideout is a gem off the grid!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Hideout out in the country not far from the city. It’s close to the Redwoods National Park. The host greeted us and our dog and made us feel very welcomed! Very pleasant experience!

Perfect Location, close to everything. Aneka the owner very sweet very knowledgeable about the area. If you travel with a Dog perfect, completely Fenced in Yard. Would stay there again. ☺️

Natures getaway

My husband and I recently stayed for four days, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Aneka, the host, was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the start. The place itself was perfect — quiet, cozy, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The location was ideal, close to all the areas we planned to explore, yet tucked away in a peaceful, wooded setting. We slept well every night and loved the little details, like watching the friendly chickens as we came and went. Most importantly, I felt safe and completely comfortable throughout the stay.If you’re looking for a serene, convenient, and charming place to stay in Crescent City, I highly recommend this spot.
