Beautiful place to stay. I was there 1 night, and it was great. Wifi was there, couldn't stream movies, but email was good. But not everyone wants to stream movies. A little confusing getting in, but then all you have to do is read the ample signs.

It is an experience A log cabin home with 3 rooms He rents like a hotel. Lots of personal touches. Log cabin meets Asian flare!! Could use a Kurig Coffee maker in tbe common area. No TV!!

We arrived after dark and it was a little scary.. the GPS took us to the wrong address. We had to make a uturn on a narrow dirt road with no lights..there was a pile or trash near by. The cabin was nice. The shower wasnt too clean and the floor mats were kinda gross... there was some leftover massage tool on the floor from previous guests. You could hear the other guests very clearly and the walls have openings between the logs to the other rooms. There was no coffee and no breakfast in the morning.

You might want to bring your own coffee maker for the mornings however, quiet, wonderful, inviting. Simply the best getaway that's tucked away. The calm this beautiful place holds is grounding ❤️

this place is not a typical stay. its a room in a house where the owners live. the room is huge and rustic. it does have a musty odor but that could be from being close to the coast. no tv but for us thats ok. shoud be listed as an airbnb. good value for the price. off the beaten path definitly not for the non adventerous. host very accomidating. i would stay again because the price was right. romantic charm. give it a try!

I loved my stay! The cabin was beautiful, peaceful, and such a great little escape. They’re still doing some social distancing, but it didn’t take away from the experience at all. With just a little more tidying around the grounds and maybe a few extra breakfast options, it would be an easy five-star spot. I’d definitely love to come back, it’s such a gem!

This is a 1 of a kind home. A 3,700 sq ft real log cabin at the end of a dirt road in the middle of a redwood forest. The owners live downstairs and the upstairs has 3 master bedrooms that you can rent. All 3 rooms are large, with large bathrooms and a porch. The Chinese decorations give it an eclectic rustic feel that is unlike any other place in the world. But the best thing of all was the peace and quiet. My wire and I are very sound sensitive. Every car that drives by wakes us up. After turning off the mini-fridge in our room, there wasn't a single sound the whole night. No cars, no people, dogs, nothing. Total and complete silence. Amazing. The redwood forest that seconds the cabin absorbs all sounds of the city.

The cabin was adorable with an easy check in. Very close to the redwoods, giving us ample opportunity to explore. Would certainly stay here again.

Property remote, like it. The outside of the cabin needs to be kept up as in the photo on the website, needs work done, a lot. Couldn't use the hot tub, we didn't have access to all of the cabin, only going up the stairs to iur room. It is self check in. Didn't see anyone there at all until midnight when a couple arrived. It was definitely different. There was no staff. When we started to leave we accidentally left something and locked the door. After searching the rest of the place we located the owner's house keeper to let us back in the room.

There are lots of great points about this property but a couple of drawbacks as well. The room (and landing area) is very provisioned with amenities - there is microwave, fridge-freezer, boiling vessel, crockery and cutlery. As well as hairdryer, bathrobes and plenty of towels. The property is at the end of a graded road (not paved) this was no problem for us but some may not like that. Accessing the property requires a door code which wasn’t sent to us in advance but there was a phone number on the door - the call was answered quickly and we got the code without a problem. The room was large and we had a balcony, which was lovely. The room could have done with a good vacuum, as there was quite a bit of dust gathering (however as I live an old cottage in England I know that old properties can be challenging to keep dust free all the time). By the way all the cafes and restaurants mentioned in the description are in Crescent City.

This is such a beautiful property! We only stayed one night, but wish we could have spent more time. Room was very cozy and hosts provided everything we’d need. Great place for a quiet relaxing stay
