「After tent camping in Heber Springs since 1988, we came upon this lodge due to thunderstorms predicted. This was my best and favorite experience there. The cabin was spacious for everyone and the view of The Little River is breathtaking. My family enjoyed the guided fishing tours all inclusive. It stormed hard all night long and we enjoyed the rain on the tin roof instead of floating in our tents. The Lucky Trout Lodge is our new favorite family tradition. 「Great place」

「Our stay at Hotel Frederick was really nice. I love the historic building and love all of the antique furniture. My husband actually wished there was an iron so he could iron his pants, but there was not, and no hangers in the armoire. But, those things are trivial. The sheets were super soft. There was even music that weekend in the downstairs bar.」

「The location is very close to Ft Leonard Wood, the beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and breakfast was excellent (eggs, sausage, Belgian waffles) compared to what other hotels generally offer as a complimentary breakfast. We would stay here again. I would have given it 5 stars except that there was too much noise coming through the ceiling from another guest above just walking around late into the night. It kept my husband from sleeping soundly.」

「Overall, the hotel itself was clean, and the indoor pool was well-maintained, clean, and safe to swim in. The AC worked well, and the room was comfortable enough for an overnight stay. However, my biggest concern was the hotel's use of a remote Customer Service Kiosk instead of an in-person front desk. As a Deaf traveler who relies heavily on lipreading, this system was very difficult to use. I had to communicate with a representative through a TV screen, and there were no captions available....
