Top Otterton Mill Hotel Reviews

Woodbury Park Hotel and Golf Club

8/10 Good

"Great spot.Pretty decent facilities but they are getting a littles tired. One of the radiators didn't work. A shower handle was missing. Door lock to one of the bathrooms was very loose and would come off. Boilers noise is a real pain...sounded like buzzing bees and would keep guests awake in adjacent rooms if water was used anywhere in the chalet. Staff did say maintenance had gone home when items were reported but they would be out in the morning to look. Unfortunately no sign of any maintenance team! A real shame as have used the hotel on many occasions but this just didn't quite live up to what we were hoping for."

Royal Glen

10/10 Excellent

"I love Sidmouth and when I visit I always stay at the Royal Glen. The parking is easy and free. The staff are very friendly and willing to help. The breakfast is a buffet with a cooked breakfast included, there are several options eg pancakes, full English, kippers, smoked salmon and scrambled egg and there are some vegetarian options also. The hotel is in a good quiet location. I will be visiting again soon."

Charming Bungalow with countryside views, close to the South West Coast Path.

10/10 Excellent

"Another visit here, and once again a perfect stay! Great location, very welcoming and friendly owners, super comfy beds, great space, lovely views and perfect location. Local pub serves great food and we headed down to the river Otter for a walk as well as towards Ladram Bay to the beach and cafe. Can't wait to book our next visit!"

Beautifully Appointed - historic village setting. Quiet church side location

10/10 Excellent

"Was everything that we wanted. Away from traffic & noise pollution in a lovely little village. Everyone you meet is nice & friendly. Angela the host was very helpful & the cottage was superb.Lovely walks in all directions off the beaten track & a bus passes through about once an hour if you want to go further afield. There is a community store in the centre of the village which is very well stocked. The village pub serves up delicious home made meals & the staff are very welcoming. All in all a lovely peaceful break."

Gorgeous 3 bedroom home opposite beach. !

8/10 Good

"Great location in the High Street, and over the road to the beautiful pebbly beach, which was lovely to visit at all times of day. We found parking tricky as many spots are limited to 2 or 4 hours, but the free car park at the other end of town was doable and free all the time - we just dropped my elderly mom off first.I don't think I realised that this was a 1st and 2nd floor apartment over a shop, so didn't expect the stairs up to the apartment, so as the description says, best to check with the owner if you're unsure. My mom found them a bit hard going. All communication with the owner was quick, helpful and efficient. Overall a lovely few days away and I'd definitely recommend this place. (Hopefully we did the recycling right!) :-)"

Lovely Cottage close to Otter Valley Nature reserve 2 miles from Devon beach

10/10 Excellent

"The cottage is very well furnished and the pictures did not do it justice. The beds were very comfy and the shower had good water pressure. Was a very relaxing place to chill in the evenings and there are games there to play. The owners have an info folder with local walks which I recommend making the most of. The kitchen is well equipped to cook evening meals. Would happily stay here again."
