「Very comfortable room & bed. Superb meals in the elegant Carrier drawing room. Slight downside in that we were kept waiting to sign in. Disappointing that mostly the flowers on display were artificial, despite having a cut-flower garden outside.」

「We had a lovely few days over the bank holiday weekend. We had dinner twice in the restaurant and both times the food was excellent with impeccable service. Breakfast was equally as good. The staff could not be more helpful. We had an amazing view from our room looking out to sea. Would definitely recommend.」

「Booked at last minute but so much better than we first thought, rooms were immaculate, clean and with perfect air conditioning. Managed to get a parking space but it’s worth noting the car park is small and £10 a night. Booking breakfast in advance was worth it and good range of options, only criticism would be the orange juice was not actual orange juice but a very minor point. Would definitely recommend.」

「This beautiful, comfortable Hotel is in the heart of Saxmundham, moments from the station. The Helpful Staff, Callum, was wonderful. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would stay again.」

「I had made a mistake when booking the room, i booked a 'snug'. With two Golden Retrievers - a big mistake. Management were great and found us an outside room that was more suited. Loved the staff, other customers and the people in general. Felt the history.」

「So pleased I found this little gem. Lovely team of people, so cheerful, friendly, hardy, and welcoming, they obviously loved their jobs. My room felt fresh, was tastefully decorated, with a spacious en-suite, super comfortable king sized bed, and stable doors that opened out to a couple of steps down to my own terrace area. I wish I was staying longer. 」
