Perfect base to break up a long journey.

Lovely quiet stop over on route to a track experience. Bed was comfortable, breakfast cooked fresh to order and hwlpful staff.

This hotel had very comfortable rooms, the staff were very pleasant and helpful, the restaurant menu was slightly limited but the breakfast was very good, particularly the table service breakfast the first day when the hotel wasn’t so busy. Overall good value for money.

The first room I stayed in was very cold and there were hairs in the bathroom. The carpet in the bedroom was stained. A lovely lady called Aurora changed my room for me. The 2nd bedroom was lovely and warm and very clean. Aurora spent time chatting with me when I went down to the bar for a couple of drinks. She is a lovely, friendly, helpful lady. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the hotel is quite dated in some areas and needs addressing but overall, I had a good stay.

All aspects of the hotel were very good only spoilt by other loud guests in the restaurant using profanity and inappropriate language. We’ve stayed a number of times in the past and always had a good experience. Food is good and staff friendly.
