"Astil is a quiet and very comfortable hotel. Very close to train station. Note that you shall take the local train. The others do not stop. For Kyoto and Kobe you go one stop to Juso sration and transfer. The best way to go from airports is airportbus to Umeda and then train. The rooms do not have bathtubes since the hotel has a nice onsen bath. If you like med do have tattos you are not able to use the bath. That is common practice in Japan and has nothing to do with the hotel. I...

"We stayed overnight to catch an early flight out from Itami the next morning. Typical Toyoko-Inn, very efficient, servicable breakfast, shuttle bus to airport, etc, etc. Believe this is an excellent choice as a transit hotel."

Location-wise, it’s a straightforward 10-minute walk to Shin-Osaka Station, which made catching the Shinkansen very easy.
