"Stayed 3 nights here for a ski trip to Dynaland / Takasu Snow Park, which is 25 mins away driving. Hotels closer to the ski resorts didn’t look convincing so I went with this hotel run by Marriott. The room is big in Japanese standard, very clean and staff were helpful. Parking just outside the hotel and it’s located right at the junction off the highway, but inside it’s very quiet. Shokawa is an old village so don’t expect any night life but there are sufficient dining options and onsen nearby."
