"This property is a hidden gem. It is a old building but in great shape very well updated and clean. It is right on the harbor and walking distance to the harbor village. Stayed there for 2 nights with family of five,the kids loved it. Breakfast and cofee were decent, seating outside by the harbor is great. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms and flooring were remodeled and clean. Air condititioning worked great too. Would stay there again next time we are in Ventura."

"For the price, this place was not worth it at all. Yes, it has convenient access to the beach and nearby stores, but the room itself was very disappointing—there were stains on the sheets, curtains, and towels, which made it feel unclean. Breakfast was actually good, and the staff in that area were great—very kind and welcoming. However, the front desk staff during check-in were the opposite—short, distant, and not welcoming at all. When I asked for help connecting to the TV, I didn’t get a clear answer—just “use whatever is on the TV or connect an HDMI cable,” which wasn’t helpful. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again. Honestly, the Motel 6 up the street is in better condition for a fraction of the price. "

"This a scam from Expedia, the pictures are fake, there’s no such thing as they said. The location is almost 3 blocks away from the beach. But Expedia sells it like the hotel in in the beach area. Be careful booking with Expedia. The manager said, Expedia sells pictures that the hotel located in the beach but it’s not true. The condition of the hotel is old and part I’m the room are broken. So no recommendations to this place. Don’t believe what Expedia is posting on the pictures because it’s not true. It’s a scam. "

"I liked the room, staff and everything else except I have been unable to find out what a charge for $150.00 was for. The hotel referred me to an 800 customer service line but it is a recording and keeps cutting me off."

"We loved the property itself and its location, which was ideal. But from the moment we arrived we had disappointment with the host experience and amenities. We arrived to a very long trail of ants on the kitchen counter (thousands of them!). While I know ants can be a problem, it was as if no one had taken care of it recently due to the volume. Secondly the outside garbage can was full to the top, leaving no room for additional garbage, again like no one had taken care of it. I was dismayed to find stains on the pillow cases and sheets downstairs, which were VERY off-putting. And then, when I went to get the extra blanket from the bedroom shelf upstairs, there was a very large and GROSS stain on it! That just SHOULD NOT HAPPEN! Additionally the bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash in all the bathrooms were empty. They did leave one or two little bottles but very little soap so that was again off-putting. All in all, while the property was lovely....the rest was a terrible disappointment."
