"This is really something to be experienced. It is new (2023) and massive - hundreds and hundreds of guests. It is a spa, first and foremost. The rooms are huge, quiet, and elegant; the numerous staff are efficient and multi-lingual. Hot springs in the building, hundreds of guests strolling about in hotel yukata, views of the peaks and ocean. The optional meals are definitely recommended - the food is fantastic and also it is a long hike to get down the mountain. Partner likened it to a luxury...

"Great experience overall 10/10. Since we are Expedia Gold, hotel gave us an upgrade to Villa cottage with a bottle of Japanese sake for our dinner. Cottage is really nice with private outdoor Onsen and bath. They also have 10 different Onsen on property that you can use, most of those are private that notify by the sign outside if it is vacant or occupied. Traditional dinner was great, we can see all the detail of preparations and care. Staffs are friendly, polite and nice. We loved it. "
