"I have stayed in 12 hotels on this trip, and this is the friendliest, with the kindest staff. I needed an extra pillow and they brought it to my room within a few minutes, they got me a taxi for my bus out of town, they had better then usual English understanding and treated me very well. "It was very nice to stay =) The staff are super friendly. I can't praise them highly enough. The rooms are spacious spotlessly clean. The location is nice with countryside views. "Great and affordable hotel with kind staff that does their best even with limited English. The room was simple but clean and comfortable with a nice view of the city. I also appreciated the reading material left in the room, great selection of local information, entertainment and religious texts for various kind of travelers. Also nice and close to Oita Station which makes it very convenient. Would definitely stay here again if given the chance. "

"Everything was neat and tidy, with a bento breakfast thrown in and cheap parking on a lot out the back, for an affordable price. The staff were all good too. There's a Gust restaurant next door and a Lawson across the road. However, the doors were a little low for tall people, the corridors aren't air conditioned and I'd prefer a regular buffet breakfast rather than eating a bento in my room."

"Completely beautiful. Everything is perfect, the atmosphere, the delicacy, the lighting, the artwork, the music, the service. Rumi, Kenji and other members of staff are so so friendly. They made me feel like I was in a home away from home. Whilst also having a completely unique experience. The private hot spring bath outdoors at the back of the hotel is out of this world. So dreamy. Beppu is an incredible space and city to be in and staying here just made it so much more special."
