"I’ve stayed here 3 times before. The staff are excellent everytime. For some reason everytime I come I get the loudest rooms looking onto walls or roofs, whereas people I’m travelling with get balconies & views onto the courtyard. On this particular stay my room was next to a huge machine that was left on all night. It was incredibly loud & was hard to fall asleep. (To be fair I didn’t mention this to them at the time as it was 11pm & I had an early wake up the next day, so i’m unsure if they could have moved me or not.) On previous stays I’ve woken up at 7.30am to the noise of pickleball being played loudly in the sports hall. This last stay would potentially put me off coming back. It wasn’t a one off so I don’t think I’d want to take the risk again."

"Nice hotel and staff. 4 Euros per day to use gym. Should be included in hotel cost / complimentary. Perhaps separate group, however same building. Sauna, steam room, pool and shower we very nice as were the locals who I met with gym memberships."

"The Owners and staff were lovely, Lynn was so helpful and went out of her way. Lynn, Ruby and the handsome Joe was a delight to talk to. Very welcoming and up for a chat, great company when feeling lonely or just want to socialize. The bedroom felt relaxing and the curtians were great at keeping out the cold. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The place is within a walking distance from the train station about a minute at most. Food is not allowed in the bedrooms just as a heads up and wifi around hook in general is a bit poor. Please don't let that spoil ruin or put you off the experience. This is a traditional inn with a whole lot of character. I hope to stay again soon."

"We had a two night stay here for our anniversary. Cannot fault anything. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast was a great experience lots of choices from cold and hot options. Lovely garden to sit and relax. Had a lovely walk along the canal. Overall a great experience. "
