"Lovely hotel, ever so peaceful, staff efficient and charming. Breakfast was good and service efficient. Sadly, the most important element was disappointing. The Bed. Way too soft for me. It’s a shame because everything else was as good as perfect. "

"I have stayed at this hotel before and know to have a reasonable stay you need to book a deluxe room. I did this and when I arrived I was told it was not a dog friendly room despite having called ahead to confirm before booking. I was given a room which was for three instead which basically had a single bed instead of a dressing table. A tv which could only be watched from a single dining chair set in a corner. The bed was a small double which creaked and the bathroom was falling to bits with a stained floor. It is a shame because it is a convenient hotel for me but having paid for a deluxe room and being given that room was really not acceptable. "

"Parking was easy and free during our stay. Too few staff with too much to do. We were not offered desert after our main meal and gave up waiting for anyone to check if we would like a desert! Overall the property needs a refresh as if is tired."
