"Fantastic stay, Nick was a very attentive and helpful host."

"Philip and his wife Nikki have a wonderful Hotel and are lovely people! Our room was tidy, comfortable, quiet, and had small touches like complimentary tea and cookies that were so appreciated and enjoyed by us. I had the best sleeps I had on our entire 2-week stay while here, so much so that I missed breakfast unfortunately--(my fiancé made it though and said the food was delicious also). If we are ever in the area again, we will be back. Thank you for the fantastic experience!"

"Room was pet friendly, staff were great, decor in room a bit tired but not enough to putting us off staying again, Bathroom door could fit better. Food was very good."

"A lovely hotel with many original features. The dinner and breakfast were lovely, there was a nice selection of both. The room was great and plenty of plugs to charge devices. I liked the lounge/bar area with a wide selection of books and games available for patrons. It's very well located for trips to Battle itself and Hastings. Would very happily stay here again."
