Located 1h30 from Montreal, on the shores of Lac Ouareau in Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci (border of St-Donat), in the magnificent region of Lanaudière.
Conveniently located in the heart of the Laurentians and Lanaudière regions, the outdoor village of Saint-Donat welcomes recreation enthusiasts all year round. There are more than 1000 kilometers of trails and circuits for hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, road and mountain biking, not to mention snowmobiling and mountain biking.
With Ski Garceau and Ski La Réserve, the Saint‑Donat golf club completes the recreational portfolio.
Throughout the year, the Parc des Pionniers is a privileged site for practicing a multitude of activities.
Once at the chalet, if you need to go shopping, the village of St-Donat is the closest with its many restaurants and shops.
Travelers have access to the entire house. It can accommodate up to 10 people (price depending on the number of people).
The chalet is unfortunately not suitable for people in wheelchairs.
The main floor, entirely open concept, includes the modern kitchen, a dining room with a view of the lake, a living room with a fireplace and a pool table.
In summer, a huge 93m2 (1,000 sq. ft.) terrace, fully furnished with outdoor lounge and garden furniture, will offer you a magnificent extension of the chalet with a view of the lake. The 3 bedrooms are on the ground floor as well as a family room with a sofa bed and a 2nd television. The outdoor spa can be used year round.

It is necessary to have a car to get to the chalet and to move around the chalets.
During the winter season: good winter tires a must. We would like to warn you that the entrance to the courtyard leading to the chalet is on a downward slope more or less accentuated in places. In winter, it is necessary to have good winter tires for the ascent. We have a professional snow removal service but we are not immune to mother nature's mood swings.
For fishing enthusiasts (- fishing zone #9 – license required), the lake contains several species of fish such as largemouth bass, yellow perch, smallmouth bass and, in some areas, muskellunge .
Le Roselin is a small paradise for snowmobile enthusiasts, because the trail on the lake directly joins trail #33 (Purchase right of access online). You can also practice Quad biking or mountain biking in all seasons on the many trails nearby. (vehicles not included)
Lac Ouareau has an area of nearly 15km2 and an average depth of 54m (177 feet). The chalet is nestled in the hollow of the Bay where you can enjoy direct access to the lake.
Boats: If you want to use your own boat or rent one for the duration of your stay, please note that the wharf shown in the Roselin photos cannot be used to dock the boat. Information for the municipal permit and launching available on request.
Animals: Note that small dogs may be accepted in the chalet with certain restrictions and under certain conditions. Fees of $75 for 1 dog and $25 for a 2nd dog may apply (2 dogs maximum). Full details in the chalet booking form.
Complete bedding is provided as well as towels for the showers.
The kitchen is very well equipped. You will find, among other things, an espresso coffee machine, a coffee grinder, a food processor as well as equipment for fondue (gas) in addition to all the usual accessories in a kitchen. In general, some basic elements are there such as: sugar, salt, pepper, spices, coffee filter, cellophane paper and aluminum foil, vegetable oil, etc…
There is a 50'' HD television and a second 46'', sound bar and DVD player, unlimited Wi-Fi access, washer/dryer, BBQ (propane provided - not guaranteed in winter) as well as a washing machine. dishes at your disposal.
