"This is a unique find, we enjoyed the history of the property. Typical Italian streets to maneuver to get to the huge villa and the gate entrance is tricky with a bigger vehicle. The villa rental part is just a portion of the house but plenty of room, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Kitchen good but if you want breakfast order in advance. "This is a nice apartment but my only search parameter/filter was to have a place with A/C, and the unit doesn’t work in this apartment. I don’t believe I would have booked a place that said no A/C but the management company stated that it is in the listing (which it is now at the very end when I looked after we arrived). "We stayed here for 5 nights for our honeymoon in August. We pre-booked the spa, a cooking class, wine tasting and a cocktail masterclass. Everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were great, all very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. They really went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. The breakfast buffet was very well stocked with delicious fruits, cheeses, meat and pastries. The views of the lake from the top floor restaurant are stunning. We ate at LeBolle twice and the food and service are both of the highest standard. We had a lovely experience at this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Stresa and Lake Maggiore."

"Idyllic hotel in the middle of Baveno. From arrival all staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The facilities were lovely and you can also use the shared facilities at the Grand Dino Hotel. Perfect for a retreat by Lake Maggorie. I would definitely return and recommend. Only feedback I’d give to the hotel is our room did not have a full length mirror which I would have liked."
