"Hotel staff was great. Nuria was very informative on local activities and getting us to where we wanted to go. We were able to get to a viewing site for the Matterhorn thanks to her help. Room was large and comfortable. Bathroom and shower were nice and spacious. One of the few hotels that I actually didn't want to leave, because I was comfortable there. "

"I throughly enjoyed my stay at the Alex. Staff was more than friendly and accommodating, the facilities are immaculately clean and the room and property had everything I wanted in a hotel. The Ski room with heated boot and glove warmers in my private locker were a fantastic add that I wasn’t aware of. Sofi and the staff were very friendly. "There was not hot water at night to take a shower and I was there during winter. Also, front desk was not knowledgeable about surroundings and when asked to stay 1 hour more in our checkout, they asked to charge 35 euros; I travel a lot and never was charge for 1 hour late checkout. Also the breakfast was mediocre. "
