This is a wonderful property with an amazing staff and professional and kind owners. It’s location, view and easy parking made it a wonderful stay, we really hope to return in the summer, highly recommend.

Lovely stay

Had a lovely one night stay at the hotel. Ample parking, very nice room, bed comfortable. Hotel is set in lovely grounds and is within walkable distance of the town. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice; we sat on the terrace with great views. Would recommend.

We selected this hotel from the about 5-7 choices in Orta San Giulio due to proximity to the center of the town, free parking, and nice location with view. We did not regret it and would go there again. Staff is friendly and helpful and fluent in English. We enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace and made all the beautiful hikes on the peninsula without ever using the car.

Family getaway

We had a great time at Hotel La Bussola! It was a perfect space for a relaxing holiday, close to the towns many restaurants and swimming locations. Staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. They went out of their way to help, even with a language barrier. Our room was clean and comfortable with a fantastic view of the lake and Isola San Giulio. We had lots of space for our family of three and the general area had something to offer for all of us. We swam in the lake and hotel pool, went wine tasting and enjoyed lots of lovely food!

Perfect and peaceful hotel!

Very nice and friendly hotel with a great view. The breakfast was very good considering italian standard. It was 36degrees during my vistit but the room was nice and cool. Since cars are not aloud past the point of the hotel it is extremly peaceful. The only sounds were birs and the bells from the monestary on the island. I really, really want to go back to this place and will pick this hotel for sure.

Vue et emplacements au top, pas le reste.

Lemplacement est parfait et la vue sublime, mais la piscine était en panne lors de notre sejour. L'eau etait verte ! Ce problèmes aurait du nous etre indiqué a notre arrivée. Au restaurants les serveurs sont assez secs et seul les chambres sont climatisées. Le hall et le couloirs sont très chauds.
